Persistence

“…..Merely keeping going is not persevering.  Some go because they are too lazy to stop, being too inactive to change direction.  To keep at easiness is not persistence, but inertia.”

”It is easier to begin two things than to keep at one.  With many it is easy to begin, and hard to continue.’

“Most failures are half-way stops.  Men start who cannot keep up.  To keep going well a long time is the price of success. ”

“To have the full advantage of momentum, we must go long enough.  Nothing good lies at the end of a short route.”
